We established our 501(c)(3) nonprofit to empower the less fortunate by teaching essential leadership skills through the game. By creating a supportive environment, we aim to inspire individuals to reach their full potential both on and off the court. Join us as we work to make a difference, one dribble at a time.

John C Maxwell iLead Youth Leadership
iLead is John Maxwell’s values-based leadership development designed specifically for students. It combines John’s proven content with a peer-to-peer process that allows students to practice leadership as they are learning it.

BASKETBALL
Cornerstone Basketball is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, faith-based organization serving students through basketball, leadership development, character building, accountability, and community. Our mission is to help students grow as athletes and leaders while providing a positive environment where they can learn, compete, build confidence, and be encouraged.
One of the best parts of Cornerstone Basketball is that membership is free. A free membership allows students to participate in group practices, basketball training, leadership training, group activities, and other opportunities throughout the year. We only ask families to pay for camps, games, and league participation. Scholarships and financial assistance may also be available when needed.
Practices and activities are held on different nights, times, and locations depending on each student’s grade level and group. We currently operate in two main areas: Peoria/Glendale and El Mirage/Surprise. To help keep kids motivated and growing, we will offer group practices along with occasional practice games or tournaments until our new league begins in the winter.
To help families stay informed, we use a group Google Calendar that lists upcoming practices, events, and activities. Frequent emails are also sent out with updates, reminders, and important information.
